The weekend of the 8th and 9th of September marked the Bradford Bubble Up festival – a celebration of all things watery in Bradford! With the City Park Mirror Pool already being one of the most popular attractions in the city, for this weekend it became the focus of a number of events as part of the Bubble Up festival and was transformed into the centre of the weekend’s festivities.
A particular highlight of the event was an interactive dance workshop that took place throughout the weekend. The Phase Change dance, choreographed by Gary Clarke and Dance United Yorkshire, explored water in its three states (as a solid, liquid, and gas), and invited members of the public to join in and perform the dance in the Mirror Pool.
