Photography Competition Winners – Merchant Square Water Maze

The Fountain Workshop has been involved with the development of the Paddington Basin area for many years, with the Merchant Square Water Maze attracting visitors throughout the year. Thank you to everyone who submitted their fantastic photos of the Water Maze for our Merchant Square photography competition. We would also like to thank the Merchant Square Management for their continued support and enthusiasm. Scroll down to have a look at the winning entries.

Winner:

Helen Daniels, London

Our Managing Director David Bracey said of the winning photograph: “The composition of this photograph really stood out to us. We really liked how Helen has placed the water maze front and centre but does not ignore the wider environment of Paddington Basin, showing the viewer the canal in the distance. By having people in this photo, she has also captured the energy of the water feature.”

Helen has won a day’s photography workshop in London, paid for by The Fountain Workshop. Her photograph will also be put forward for consideration for the overall prize – to have her photograph printed on the side of The Fountain Workshop maintenance vans for the following year.
