King’s Cross Becomes London Design District

The London Design Festival has returned to King's Cross for another year, this time bigger and better than ever before!

In the past the LDF has come to Granary Square, recognising King’s Cross as a centre for Design and Architecture in London. For LDF 2019, however, the involvement of King’s Cross in the Festival has expanded, with King’s Cross becoming one of the LDF’s very first Design Districts. Through this, the area has hosted a number of exhibits and events, including displays as part of London Fashion Week.

Our water feature at the V&A has also been used as part of the LDF. For the duration of the Festival, the John Madejski Garden will home to an exhibit by Japanese artist Kuma.
