Open House Festival 2020

From Saturday 19th September Open House returns! See inside London's architecture and landscape hubs. A number of our projects are involved, with tours being run both virtually and in person through COVID Secure methods.

Last year the Aga Khan Centre was included as one of the venues for behind-the-scenes tours of the Centre’s gardens and terraces. The Centre will be involved again this year with the festival, although tours will be provided through an online server. Pre-booking for this online event is required. Find out more here.

This year, COVID Secure walking tours of the architecture and parkland at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be involved. Although the Water Labyrinth is currently turned off due to safety measures, information about this water feature can be found on our website. Pre-booking for this event is required. Find out more here.

A COVID Secure walking tour concerning the masterplan for the King’s Cross development will also be running as part of the Open House festival. The Fountain Workshop has been involved with the King’s Cross development since the beginning of the area’s renovation and have provided a number of water features, including Granary Square, Pancras Square, Cubitt Square, and Handyside Park. At current, Cubitt Square is the only feature that is running. Pre-booking for this event is required. Details of the tour can be found here.

Please remember to remain safe and sensible while attending in person and online events. Remember to familiarise yourself with and follow all laws and guidelines issued by both the Government and the event provider. The events detailed here are provided by an organisation with whom The Fountain Workshop has no association.
